A viral video is doing rounds on social media claiming that a migrant worker was shot dead in the Meghalaya. The graphic video shows a man in red t-shirt being shot from a close distance

After fact check, it has been found that claims made with the video are false. The viral video of a painter/construction worker shot dead is from Manaus, Brazil. The video has no connection to India.

It is appealed to all to not fall prey to misinformation and fake news.
